Bu araştırmanın amacı, müzik öğretmeni adaylarının mükemmeliyetçilik düzeylerini cinsiyet, sınıf ve akademik başarı düzeyi açısından incelemektir. Genel tarama modelinde yapılan araştırmanın örneklemini 2016-2017 yılında Atatürk Üniversitesi, Erzincan Binali Yıldırım Üniversitesi ve Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dallarında öğrenim gören toplam 221 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, Olumlu Olumsuz Mükemmeliyetçilik Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu ile elde edilerek SPSS veri analizi programı ile istatistiksel olarak çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçları, müzik öğretmeni adaylarının mükemmeliyetçi özelliklerinin yüksek standartlar, düzen ve uyuşmazlık boyutlarında, cinsiyet ve akademik başarı değişkenlerinde anlamlı farklılıklar olduğunu göstermiştir.

The aim of this study is to examine the perfectionism levels of music teacher candidates in terms of gender, class and academic achievement level. The sample of the research carried out in the general survey model consisted of 221 students studying at Atatürk University, Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University and Necmettin Erbakan University Music Education Departments. The data of the study were obtained with Positive Negative Perfectionism Scale and Personal Information Form and statistically analyzed with SPSS data analysis program. The results of the study showed that the perfectionist characteristics of the music teacher candidates had significant differences in the high standards, order and disagreement dimensions, gender and academic achievement variables.
