ORTAOKUL ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN ÖĞRENME STİLLERİ İLE MÜZİK DERSİNE YÖNELİK TUTUMLARI ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ

Bu çalışmada Ortaokul 6. ve 7. sınıf öğrencilerin öğrenme stilleri ile müzik dersine yönelik tutumları sınıf düzeyleri ve cinsiyetleri açısından incelenmiştir. Araştırma 2017-2018 öğretim yılında Konya İl merkezinden bir özel ortaokulda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Karşılaştırmalı ilişkisel tarama modeline göre desenlenen çalışmada ‘Kolb’un Öğrenme Stilleri Envanteri’ ve araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ‘Ortaokul Müzik Dersi Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada toplanan verilerin analizi sonucu ortaokul öğrencilerinin sınıf düzeyleri ve cinsiyetlerine göre müzik dersi tutumlarının anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği bulunmuştur. Araştırmanın bir diğer sonucu da öğrencilerin öğrenme stilleri ile müzik dersi tutumları arasında anlamlı bir ilişkinin bulunmasıdır.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS' LEARNING STYLES AND ATTITUDES TOWARDS MUSIC LESSONS

In this study, the attitudes of 6th and 7th grade students of secondary school to music lessons and their learning styles were examined in terms of class levels and gender. The research was carried out in a private secondary school located in the city of Konya in 2017-2018 academic year. ‘Secondary School Music Lesson Attitude Scale developed by the researcher and ’Kolb's Learning Styles Inventory’ were used in the study which was designed according to the comparative relational survey design. Analyzes of data collected in the research revealed that the attitudes of the music lessons were significantly different according to the class levels and gender of secondary school students. Another consequence of the research is that there is meaningful relationship between learning styles and student’s attitudes of music lessons.
