GÜZEL SANATLAR FAKÜLTESİ MÜZİK BÖLÜMÜ ÖĞRENCİLERİ İLE EĞİTİM FAKÜLTESİ MÜZİK EĞİTİMİ ANABİLİM DALI ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN GELECEK BEKLENTİLERİNİN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

Bireylerin içinde bulunduğu dönem ve ilerideki yaşamlarını etkileyen önemli unsurlardan biri olan gelecek beklentileri günümüzde pek çok farklı araştırmaya konu olmuştur. Özellikle gençlerin yüksek öğretim, iş olanakları, benlik algıları gibi geleceğe yönelik uzun vadeli planlar araştırmaların odağındadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Müzik Bölümü’nde eğitim gören öğrencilerin gelecek beklentilerini, bölümü tercih etme sebeplerini, iş bulma ümitlerini ve mezun olacakları alanda çalışma isteklerini belirleyip Eğitim Fakültesi Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı öğrencileri ile karşılaştırmaktır. Araştırmada betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri alan uzmanlarının görüşleri doğrultusunda oluşturulan anket ile toplanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde gruplar arasındaki farkın belirlenmesi için t testinden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçları doğrultusunda her iki grup arasında gelecek beklentileri açısından anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir.

COMPARISON OF THE FUTURE EXPECTATIONS OF THE STUDENTS OF FINE ARTS FACULTY MUSIC DEPARTMENT AND EDUCATION FACULTY MUSIC EDUCATION MAJOR BRANCH

Future expectations which is one of the important elements that effect the individuals’ present period and their later lives, has been the subject of many different studies today. Especially youths’ long-term future plans like high education, job possibilities, self-perceptions are the focus of the studies. The purpose of this study is to detect the future expectations, the reasons of preference of the department, the hopes of finding a job and the desire to work in the field of graduation of the students of Fine Arts Faculty Music Department and to compare those with the students Education Faculty Music Education Major Branch. Descriptive survey model was used in this study. The data of the study was gathered with a survey formed by the opinions of the field experts. In the analysis of the gathered data t test was utilized to determine the difference of the groups. According to the results of the study meaningful differences about future expectations were detected between both groups.
