Araştırma, ebelik uygulama alanlarında yapılan teori ve modele dayalı tezleri incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Sistematik inceleme olan bu çalışmada, konuyla ilgili tüm tezlerin geriye dönük taranması biçiminde gerçekleştirildi. İncelemede “gebelik”, “doğum”, “postpartum”, “yenidoğan”, “kuram”, “teori”, “model”, anahtar kelimeleri kullanılarak “Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu Tez Merkezi” veri tabanı elektronik olarak tarandı. Anahtar kelime olarak “gebelik” ile 855 tez, “doğum” ile 1207 tez, “postpartum” ile 244 tez, “yenidoğan” ile 995 tez, “kuram” ile 1705 tez, “teori” ile 2000 tez ve “model”, 2000 tez tespit edildi. İnceleme sonucunda 21 tez seçildi ve iki tez çalışmanın amacına uygun olmadığı için dışlandı. Ondokuz tez örneklemi oluşturdu. Tezlerin özellikleri SPSS 15.0 istatistik programıyla analiz edildi ve sayı, yüzde değerleri kullanıldı. Tezlerde en sık kullanılan teori/kuram ve modellerin sırasıyla; Roy Adaptasyon Modeli, Dorothy Orem Öz Bakım Modeli, Planlı Davranış Teorisi, Watson Bakım Teorisi olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

This research aim to investigate th equality and quantity of thesis based on theory and model in midwifery application areas. The systematic review was carried out in the form of retrospective screening of all theses related to the subject. In the review, the "YÖK Thesis Center" data base was scanned electronically using "pregnancy", "birth", "postpartum", "newborn", "theory", "model" withkeywords. As the key word, 855 theses with "pregnancy", 1207 theses with "birth", 244 theses with "postpartum" with 995 theses "newborn" 1705 theses with "theory", 2000 theses with "theory" 2000 theses with "model" were identified. 21 theses selected as a result of the examination and two theses were excluded because not suitable for the purpose of study, 19 theses were consist sample. The characteristics of theses were analyzed with SPSS statistical program. In theses, most commonly used the theory and model was determined respectively; Roy Adaptation Model, Dorothy Orem Self Care Model, Planned Behavior Theory and Watson Care Theory.
