BITTIM SABUNUNUN ANTİMİKROBİYAL AKTİVİTESİ

Bu çalışmada; Doğu ve Güney Doğu Anadolu Bölgesinde dezenfektan olarak kullanılan “bıttım’’ sabununun hekzan ekstreleri hazırlanarak disk difüzyon metoduna göre; Staphylococcus aureus COWAN 1, Bacillus megaterium DSM 32, Klebsiella pneumoniae FMC 5, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Candida albicans FMC 17, Candida globrata ATCC 66032, Candida tropicalis ATCC 13803, Trichophyton sp. ve Epidermophyton sp. üzerinde antimikrobiyal etkileri test edilmiştir. Çalışmalar sonunda; hekzan ile hazırlanan ‘’bıttım’’ sabununun; gram negatif, gram pozitif bakteriler, maya ve dermofit funguslar üzerine değişen oranlarda antimikrobiyal etki gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.

THE ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY OF BITTIM SOAP

In this study, antimicrobial activity of the bıttım soap, which used as a idealist disinfectant in the Eastern and Southeast Anatolia, were investigated. The extract of ‘’bıttım’’ soap were prepared with heczan and antimicrobial activities of extracts were examined on test microorganisms as follows: Staphylococcus aureus COWAN 1, Bacillus megaterium DSM 32, Klebsiella pneumoniae FMC 5, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 as bacteria species, Candida albicans FMC 17, Candida globrata ATCC 66032, Candida tropicalis ATCC 13803, Trichophyton sp., and Epidermophyton sp. by disc diffusion methods. In the end of studies, we have found that the extracts of ‘’bıttım’’ soap prepared with ethyl alcohol, revealed antimicrobial activities against some bacteria, yeasts and dermatofit.
