SINIF ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN BEDEN EĞİTİMİ DERSİNE KARŞI TUTUMLARININ VE YETERLİKLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ

Dünyadaki gelişmiş ülkelerin beden eğitimi ve spora yaklaşımları, eğitimin bütünlüğü içerisinde fiziksel uygunluğu yerinde ve sağlıklı bir toplum oluşturmaya yöneliktir. Bu araştırma, İlköğretim okulu birinci kademede beden eğitimi derslerini yürüten sınıf öğretmenlerinin beden eğitimi, spor, oyun v.b etkinliklerin, amacına uygun gerçekleştirebilme yeterlikleri ve derse olan tutum davranışlarını belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bunun için anket yöntemi ve betimsel alan taraması (survey) yapılmıştır. Çalışma evrenini ilköğretim I. Kademe sınıf öğretmenleri oluştururken, örneklemi 468 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Verileri çözümlemede SPSS paket program kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada sınıf öğretmenlerinin genel bir görüşü olarak, beden eğitimi dersinin birinci kademedeki öğrenciler açısından, hem fiziksel hem de ruhsal yönden çok önemli bir yer tuttuğunu kabul ettikleri, spor tesisi yetersizliğinin ise dersin işleniş ve amacına ulaşmada sorun teşkil etmesinin yanı sıra, dersin beden eğitimi öğretmenleri tarafından yürütülmesinin daha verimli olacağı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

DETERMINATION OF ATTITUDE AND COMPETENCES OF CLASSROOM TEACHERS TO PHYSICAL EDUCATION LESSON

Approaches of developed countries in the world towards physical education and sports are for constituting a healthy society with a physical fitness within the integrity of the education. This research aims at determining competences of classroom teachers conducting physical education lessons in primary school 1st grade to realize physical education, sports, plays etc. up to the marks and their attitudes – behaviors relating to the lesson. Accordingly, questionnaire method and descriptive field survey were applied. While the universe of the study comprises of primary education 1st grade classroom teachers, the sample of the research comprises of 468 classroom teachers. SPSS package was used in analysis of data. Taking a general opinion of the classroom teachers in the research, it was concluded that they acknowledge that physical education lesson has a very important place both physically and mentally for 1st grade students; deficiency of sports facilities poses a problem in terms of conducting the lesson and achieving its target; and it would be better if the lesson was conducted by physical education teachers.
