ANTRENÖRLÜK YETERLİLİK ÖLÇEĞİ’NİN (AYÖ) PSİKOMETRİK ÖZELLİKLERİ: TÜRK ANTRENÖRLER ÜZERİNE BİR ÇALIŞMA

Bu çalışmanın amacı, antrenörün sporcularının performansını etkileme kapasitesi hakkındaki inançlarını ölçen, Antrenörlük Yeterlilik Ölçeği’nin AYÖ) psikometrik özelliklerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma grubu, basketbol, futbol, tenis ve hentbol branşlarında Türkiye’nin çeşitli kulüplerinde çalışan 204 antrenörden oluşmaktadır. Antrenörlere 4 alt boyut ve 24 maddeden oluşan AYÖ uygulanmıştır. Açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda ölçeği oluşturan maddelerin orjinali ile uyumlu olarak 4 faktör altında toplandığı görülmüştür. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonuçları tüm parametre ölçümlerinin anlamlı olduğunu göstermektedir (p<0,01). Alt ölçekler için iç tutarlılık katsayıları .80 ile .87 arasında değişmektedir. Ölçeğin toplam iç tutarlılık katsayısı ise .93 olarak bulunmuştur. Bulgular Antrenörlük Yeterlilik Ölçeği’nin Türkçe uyarlamasının geçerlilik ve güvenilirliğini desteklemektedir.

PSYCHOMETRIC PROPERTIES OF COACHING EFFICACY SCALE (CES): A STUDY ON TURKISH COACHES

The purpose of the study was to examine the the psychometric properties of the Coaching Efficacy Scale (CES) which measures coaches’ beliefs about their capacity to affect the performance of their athletes. The research group consisted of 204 coaches working in basketball, soccer, tenis and handball teams in various clubs throughout Turkey. Coaches administered CES comprising 4 sub-scales and 24 items. The 4 latent variables obtained with the explanatory factor analysis.Confirmatory factor analysis results showed that all parameter estimates were significant (p<0,01). Cronbach alpha coefficients of sub-scales varied between 0,80 and 0,87. In addition general Cronbach alpha coefficient was 0,93 for the whole scale. Results supported the reliability and validity of the Turkish version of the Coaching Efficacy Scale.
