ÇOCUK HAKLARI: HAKLARLA ÇELİŞEN ÇOCUK YOKSULLUĞU

Son 50 yıldır dünya üzerinde büyük bir refah artışı gerçekleşmesine rağmen yoksulluk çağımızın en önemli problemlerinden biri olmaya devam etmektedir. Teknolojik ve buna bağlı olarak yaşanan sosyal değişimlerle hem doğal çevre hem de insansal kaynaklardan daha fazla yararlanılmasına karşın yoksulluğun hala azalmaması, bu imkanlara ulaşmadaki yetersizlikler ile kaynakların adaletsiz bir biçimde dağılımından kaynaklanmaktadır. Yoksulluk tek başına bir risk durumu değildir; ancak beraberinde ailenin parçalanmasını ya da en azından koruyucu rolünü üstlenememesini, fiziksel ve ruhsal sağlık sorunlarını, eğitim sorunlarını, potansiyel taciz durumlarına karşı çocukların korunamamasını, riskli davranışların sergilendiği ortamlarda daha fazla bulunmayı beraberinde getirmektedir. Bu bildiride çocuk yoksulluğu çocuk hakları açısından irdelenecek ve öneriler getirilmeye çalışılacaktır.

CHILD POVERTY: CHILDREN'S RIGHTS CONFLICTING POVERTY

Over the past 50 years, the realization of a great increase in prosperity although global poverty remains one of the most important problems in our modern world. By means of technological and social changes, both human and natural environment resources have been utilized more. Due to the deficiencies in the achievement of opportunities and the unjust distribution of resources, the poverty does not decrease. Poverty is not a risk status; but it causes many problems such as breakdown of family or at least does not take on protective role of family, physical and mental health problems, education problems, not protected children against potential abuse situations, be in places where more risky behaviors displayed. In this study child poverty will be explicated in terms of child rights and some recommendations will be given.
