OKULLARDA SOSYAL ADALET KAVRAMINA İLİŞKİN ÖĞRETMENLERİN ÜRETTİKLERİ METEFORLAR

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, devlet okulu ve özel okulda görev yapan öğretmenlerin okul türüne göre, "sosyal adalet" kavramına ilişkin sahip oldukları algıları metaforlar aracılığıyla ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Diyarbakır ilinde 2008-2009 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde 104’ü devlet okulunda, 74’ü de özel okulda görev yapmakta olan toplam 178 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, Araştırma kapsamında yer alan öğretmenlerin “Sosyal adalet…… benzer; çünkü……” cümlesini tamamlamasıyla elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analiz edilmesi ve yorumlanmasında, içerik analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, devlet okulunda görev yapan öğretmenler sosyal adaleti en çok (%31.4) “eşitlik imgesi” olarak görürken, özel okul öğretmenleri ise sosyal adaleti diğer temalara oranla daha çok (%33.3) “olumsuzluk imgesi” olarak görmektedirler

THE METAPHORS TEACHERS PRODUCED CONCERNING SOCIAL JUSTICE NOTION IN SCHOOLS

The main purpose of this study is to explore teachers’ ,working in public school and private school, perceptions according to type of school about the concept of “social juctice” through the use of metaphors. The participants for this study include 178 teachers working 104 in public school, 74 in private school in Diyarbakır during the spring semester of 2008-2009 academic year. The study’ datas were obtained each participant’s being asked to complate the prompt “Social juctice is analogous to… because….”. The content analysis technique was used to analyze and interpret the study data. According to the results, the teachers working in public school mostly (%31.4) conceive “social justice” as “ equality simulacrum”, on the other hand, the teachers working in private school mostly (%33.3) conveice “social justice” as “negative simulacrum” in comparison with the other themes.
