FEN BİLGİSİ ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARININ MEZUN OLDUKLARI LİSE TÜRLERİNİN VE CİNSİYETLERİNİN TEMEL FİZİK ALAN BİLGİLERİ ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ

Bu çalışmada, Pamukkale Üniversitesi, Eğitim Fakültesi, Fen Bilgisi Eğitimi Anabilim dalına devam eden öğretmen adaylarının başarı düzeyleri ile cinsiyet faktörünün ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın yürütülmesinde tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Basit tesadüfî örneklem seçimiyle dört sınıf düzeyinden toplam 227 öğretmen adayına alan bilgilerini sorgulayacak bir başarı testi uygulanmış ve SPSS kullanılarak veri analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, öğretmen adaylarının başarı düzeyleri ile mezun oldukları lise türü ve cinsiyet faktörü arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmamıştır. Bunun yanı sıra, farklı liselerden mezun olan öğretmen adaylarının başarı düzeyleri arasındaki farkın birinci sınıfta en yüksek seviyede olduğu, daha sonraki sınıflarda farkın giderek azalarak birbirine yaklaştığı görülmektedir.

EFFECT OF GENDER AND KIND OF HIGH SCHOOL OF SCIENCE PRE-SERVICE TEACHER ON FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICS FIELD KNOWLEDGE

In this study, we investigated whether there is a significant correspondence between gender and the achievement level of preservice teacher attending Science Education Department of Pamukkale University Education Faculty. The scanning method is used in execution of the investigation. By simple random sampling selection, an achievement test inquiring field knowledge is applied to 227 teacher candidate from four classes. Data analysis of the research is performed by using SPSS. From the results, there is no statistically meaningful correspondence between the kind of high school and sexuality. Besides, the difference between teacher candidates graduated form different kind of high schools is observed to be the highest in the first class level and the difference decreases at next class levels closing together as going further.
