Bu çalışmada, sektöre eleman yetiştiren eğitim kurumlarımızda yaygın olarak kullanıldığı bilinen Müller kalıp hazırlama sisteminin ergonomik ve antropometrik açıdan değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmış ve eğitim kurumlarında kullanılan bu sistemin gereklilik ve yeterlilikleri kıyaslama metodu ile irdelenmiştir. Çalışmada öncelikle Müller sisteminde kullanılan ölçüler antropometrik teknikler açısından gözden geçirilerek, farklılık gösteren noktalar belirlenmiştir. Daha sonra bu sistemin gerektirdiği ölçü ve işlemler hazır giyim sektöründe geçerli olan uygulamalarla karşılaştırılmıştır. Yapılan değerlendirmeler, Müller sisteminde kullanılan ölçülerin ölçüm noktalarının ve ölçüm anındaki vücut pozisyonunun yeterince tanımlanmadığını göstermektedir. Hazır giyim sektöründe kullanılan ölçülere bakıldığında ise, burada yer alan bazı ölçülerin Müller ölçü listesinde bulunmadığı ve dolayısıyla kalıp hazırlamada kullanılamadığı tespit edilmiştir.

In this study the Müller system, which has been applied widely in the schedules of the schools, training labour for the sector, will be analyzed from the ergonomics and anthropometrical perspectives. To this end, the necessity and adequacy of this system will be examined in a comparative method. In the study, firstly, the measurements used in the Müller System are examined according to classical anthropometric techniques and the differences are highlighted. Secondly, the measurements and operations needed in the system have been compared with sector practices. The evaluations show that the measurements and the references used in the Müller system do not identify accurately the position of the body at the time of measurement. When the measures used in the apparel technology are taken into account, it is observed that some of them can not be found and applied in the preparations of the patterns according to the Müller System.
