Bu araştırmanın temel amacı; yenilenen 6. ve 7. sınıf sosyal bilgiler öğretim programındaki alternatif ölçme-değerlendirme tekniklerinden proje görevi, performans görevi ve öğrenci ürün dosyasına ilişkin sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin görüşlerini ortaya çıkarabilmektir. Araştırmada 108 öğretmene anket uygulanmış ve 20 öğretmenle görüşme yapılmıştır. Araştırma, betimsel bir çalışma olup tarama modeline dayalıdır. Çalışma, nitel ve nicel araştırma veri toplama yöntemleri birlikte kullanıldığı için karma yöntem biçimindedir. Nicel verilerin analizinde SPSS programı yardımı ile betimsel analiz, nitel verilerin analizinde ise betimsel ve içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, öğretmenler genellikle bu teknikleri faydalı bulmaktadırlar. Bunun yanında birçok problemle karşılaştıkları da görülmektedir.

The main purpose of this study is to discover social studies teachers’ opinions about project task, performance task and portfolio which are alternative assessment techniques in renovated 6th and 7th social studies program. Questionnaire has been carried out to 108 teachers and 20 teachers have been interviewed. The study is a descriptive one and it is based on the model of survey. It is a mixed method since the quantitative and qualitative data collection methods are used together. Descriptive analysis with SPSS Program is used in quantitative data analysis; descriptive and content analysis is used in qualitative data analysis. According to results of research, teachers have usually found this technique useful. On the other hand, teachers have met many problems.
