PAMUKKALE ÜNİVERSİTESİNİN FARKLI FAKÜLTELERİNDE GÖREV YAPAN ÖĞRETİM ELEMANLARININ ÖĞRETME STİLLERİNİN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğretim elemanlarının öğretme stillerini belirlemek ve bu öğretme stillerinin araştırmacı tarafından belirlenen değişkenler ile karşılaştırılmasıdır. Bu çalışma için belirlenen örneklem grubu Pamukkale Üniversitesi’nin lisans düzeyinde eğitim veren fakültelerdir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, evrende bulunan 425 öğretim elemanı arasından 241 öğretim elemanı oluşturmuştur. Bu araştırmada Grasha-Reichmann tarafından hazırlanan Öğretme Stili Ölçeği (1994) kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda öğretme stilleri ile cinsiyet, yaş, çalıştığı fakülte, verilen derslerin alanı değişkenlerinde anlamlı farklar bulunmuştur. Bu anlamlı farkların sebebinin fakültelerde verilen derslerin içeriğine göre şekillenmesi olarak yorumlanmıştır. Böylece öğretim elemanları kendi öğretme stillerinin özelliklerini, anlattıkları dersin işleyişine yansıttıklarında daha etkili ve verimli bir öğretim gerçekleştirmiş olacaklardır.

THE COMPARISON OF TEACHING STYLES OF TEACHING STAFFS WHO WORKED IN DIFFERENT FACULTIES OF PAMUKKALE UNIVERSITY

The purpose of this study, to determine the teaching styles of instructors and to compare the teaching styles with variables that is determined by the researcher. The sample for this study identified the Pamukkale University faculty who are teaching at the undergraduate level. The research sample in the universe among the 425 academic staff consisted of 241 faculty members. This study was prepared by Grasha-Reichmann Learning Style Inventory (1994) is used. The data obtained in accordance with the teaching styles, sex, age, school work, in the course of the field variables, significant differences were found. Of the reasons for this significant difference according to the content of the teaching faculties are interpreted as formation. Their teaching styles so that the characteristics of faculty members, they tell when they reflected on the course more effective and efficient functioning of the teaching will be realized.
