ERKEN ÇOCUKLUK DÖNEMİNDE AKTİF ÖĞRENME GRUPLARINDAKİ USTA VE ACEMİ ÇOCUKLARIN GRUP ÇALIŞMA SÜREÇLERİ

Bu araştırmanın amacı, erken çocukluk döneminde aktif öğrenme yöntem-teknik ve stratejileri konusunda deneyimli olan usta çocuklar ile bu eğitim sürecine yeni başlayan acemi çocukların grup çalışma süreçlerini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Araştırmada yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya aynı sosyo-ekonomik düzeydeki üç özel okulöncesi eğitim kurumuna bağlı altı yaş grubundaki çocuklar katılmıştır. Gruplar usta çocuk -usta öğretmen (n:33), acemi çocuk -usta öğretmen(n:22), acemi çocuk-acemi öğretmen(n:46) şeklinde oluşturulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda acemi çocuk-acemi öğretmen grubundaki çocukları n görev paylaşımı sırasında öğretmenden daha fazla yardım aldıkları saptanmıştır. Acemi çocuk- usta öğretmen grubunda ise, çocukların görev paylaşımında öğretmenden yardım alma dışında farklı alternatifleri (saymaca, sırayla yapma ve konuşma) kullandıkları görülmektedir. Usta çocuk-usta öğretmen grubunda verilen işi birlikte yapmaya çalışma ve arkadaşlarından yardım isteme oranları diğer gruplara göre daha yüksektir.

GROUP WORKING PROCESSES OF SKILLED AND UNSKILLED CHILDREN IN ACTIVE LEARNING IN EARLY CHILDHOOD

The purpose of the study is to obtain the group working processes of the skilled children who involved in the active learning since they were four the unskilled children who have been exposed to the active learning techniques –strategies since they were six. To achieve this purpose, a semi-structured interview was developed by the researchers themselves. The participants were the children at the age of six in three private institutions at the same socio-economic level. The groups were skilled childrens-experienced teachers (n=33), unskilled childrens-experienced teachers (n=22) and unskilled childrens-novice teachers (n=46). The data results in the fact that unskilled children get more help from the novice teachers. In the unskilled childrens-experienced teachers group, children utilize different ways (counting, taking turns and delegating task by consulting each other). Skilled childrens-experienced teachers score higher than the other groups regarding their collaboration with each other and getting help from their peers.
