Bu çalışmada Karakaya Baraj Gölü Battalgazi Bölgesi rotiferlerinin mevsimsel değişimi Mayıs 2008 - Mart 2009 arasında izlenmiştir. Rotifera’dan toplam 19 tür teşhis edilmiştir. Keratella cochlearis her mevsim bulunan tür olmuştur. Bu türü Polyarthra vulgaris izlemiştir. Her mevsim rotifer bireylerine rastlanılmıştır. Rotiferlerin birey sayıları ve tür çeşitliliğinde ilkbaharda önemli bir artış kaydedilmiştir. Birey ve tür sayısının en az kaydedildiği dönem kış olmuştur.

In this study the seasonal variation of rotifers of Karakaya Dam Lake Battalgazi Region were observed between May 2008- March 2009. 19 species belonging to rotifera were identified. Keratella cochlearis was found in every season. This species was followed by Polyarthra vulgaris. An important increases in spring were observed in number of individuals and species diversity. The least number of individuals and species diversity were recorded in winter.
