BAŞLANGIÇ PİYANO EĞİTİMİNDE ALGISAL ÖĞRENME STİLLERİNİN UYGULANMA DURUMU

Bu araştırmanın amacı, başlangıç piyano eğitimi sürecinde algısal öğrenme stillerinin öğretim etkinliklerinde uygulanma durumunu belirlemektir. Araştırma 2008–2009 eğitim-öğretim döneminde gerçekleşmiştir. Araştırmada, küme örnekleme yöntemiyle Türkiye’nin farklı bölgelerinden seçilen üniversitelerin eğitim fakültelerine bağlı müzik eğitimi anabilim dallarında piyano eğitimi veren öğretim elemanları (n:25) ile 1. sınıf öğrencileri (n:177) üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler, öğrenci ve öğretim elemanları için hazırlanan anket formu ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada, algısal öğrenme stillerinin görsel, işitsel ve devinimsel boyutlarında hazırlanan öğretim etkinliklerinin ağırlıkları değişse de farklı öğrenme profilindeki öğrenciler için kullanıldığı, devinimsel başta olmak üzere işitsel etkinliklerin her öğrenme profili için daha fazla tercih edildiği sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

THE APPLICATION OF PERCEPTUAL LEARNING STYLES IN BEGINNING PIANO EDUCATION

The aim of this study, in piano education, is to determine the applicability of perceptual learning styles in academic activities. The method of cluster sampling was conducted during the 2008-2009 academic year. 25 piano instructors and 177 first grade students have been selected from the music department of universities that placed in different regions of Turkey and this research has been carried out with these the piano instructors (n:25) and students (n:177). The data has been obtained by questionnaire that prepared for instructors and students. In conclusion, it has been determined that all instructors participating in the survey, have used all teaching activities (prepared in visual, aural, kinesthetic/tactile style) for each learning profile although the rate varies. However, they frequently prefered especially kinesthetic and aural activities for each learning profile. And the student opinion has supported this conclusion.
