İLKÖĞRETİM 1-5. SINIFLAR MATEMATİK DERSİ TEMEL BECERİLERİNE DRAMA TEKNİĞİNİN KATKISINA İLİŞKİN ÖĞRETMEN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretim sınıf öğretmenlerinin matematik dersinde drama tekniğinin kullanılmasının öğrencilerin matematik dersi temel becerilerine katkısına ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada, anket sonuçları ile ilgili ek kontrol sorularında görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Örneklem ise random yoluyla seçilen yedi öğretmenden oluşmuştur. Veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği ile toplanmıştır Araştırma da ulaşılan sonuçlar şöyle özetlenebilir; Araştırma kapsamında bulunan problem çözme, iletişim, ilişkilendirme ve akıl yürütme becerilerine drama tekniğinin katkısına öğretmenlerin katıldıkları, sınıf öğretmenleri matematik dersinde drama tekniğinin kullanılmasının öğrencilerin problem çözme becerisine katkısına ilişkin görüşlerini ‘Kesinlikle Katılıyorum’ düzeyinde, iletişim becerisine katkısına ilişkin görüşlerini ‘Katılıyorum’ düzeyinde, ilişkilendirme becerisine katkısına ilişkin görüşlerini ‘Katılıyorum’ düzeyinde, akıl yürütme becerisine katkısına ilişkin görüşlerini ‘Kesinlikle Katılıyorum’ düzeyinde belirttikleri saptanmıştır.

TEACHER VIEWS ABOUT PRIMARY 1 - 5 MATHEMATICS BASIC SKILLS COURSE GRADES OF THEIR TECHNICAL CONTRIBUTIONS OF DRAMA

The aim of the study is to determine what primary school classroom teaching students think about the contribution of the use of the drama technique in the mathematics lessons to the basic skills in their mathematics lessons. The descriptive research method was employed in the study. The interview technique was employed in asking supplementary questions related to the result of the interview. The sample consisted of seven randomly chosen teachers. Data were gathered according to the semi-structured interview technique. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: Teachers agreed that the use of the drama technique contributed to the problem-solving, communication, association and deduction skills of students. Classroom teachers “fully agreed” that the use of the drama technique in the mathematics lesson contributed to the problem-solving ability of the students. They “agreed” to its contribution to the communication skills of students: they “fully agreed” to its contribution to the deduction skills of students.
