ÖZET Bu ara?tyrmanyn temel amacy, 21.yüzyylda ö?retmen adaylarynyn bilgi okuryazarlyk becerilerini de?erlendirmektir. Ara?tyrma, genel tarama modeline dayanmaktadyr. Ara?tyrmanyn evrenini 2009-2010 Ö?retim yylynda Malatya Ynönü Üniversitesi E?itim Fakültesi’ne ba?ly bölümlerin son synyflaryndaki ö?retmen adaylary; örneklemini ise bu ö?retmen adaylary arasyndan tesadüfî olarak seçilmi? 480 ö?retmen adayy olu?turmaktadyr. Ara?tyrmada veri toplama aracy olarak, ara?tyrmacylar tarafyndan geli?tirilmi? ‘’Bilgi Okuryazarlyk Becerisi Anketi’’kullanylmy?tyr. Ankette, bilgi okuryazarlyk becerilerini sorgulayan 24 madde ve ö?retmen adaylarynyn bunlary gerçekle?tirme düzeyi ile ilgili “Hiç (1), Nadiren (2), Bazen (3), Ço?unlukla (4), Her zaman (5) “?eklinde 5’li seçenekler yer almaktadyr. THE EVALUATION OF THE SKILLS OF TEACHER CANDIDATES’ INFORMATION LITERACY IN THE 21ST CENTURY

SUMMARY The main purpose of this study is to evaluate of the skills of teacher candidates’ information literacy in the 21st century.The research is based on survey metod. The population of the study has been built up by the students who were at the their final year in the 2009-2010 academic year in the departments of Education Faculty of Inonu University and its sample has been built up by randomly chosen 480 students from these teacher candidates. In the research, as the means of getting data, ‘Information Literacy Skill Survey’ which was developed by the researchers has been used. In the survey, there are 24 items that question the information literacy skill and it includes the choices that are related with level of the realization of them by the teacher candidates with Never (1), Seldom (2), Sometimes (3), More often (4), Always (5). In the analyse of the data, related with each item, the frequency, percentage and mean of the view of the teacher candidate
