Bu makalenin amacı, ilköğretim altı, yedi, sekizinci sınıf İngilizce ders kitabı Spot On serisinin değerlendirme ölçütlerine göre sayfa değerlendirmesi yöntemiyle değerlendirilmesidir. Değerlendirme ölçütleri; uygulamaya yönelik hususlar, içerik, kelime ile dilbilgisi ve yöntem olmak üzere dört ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. İnceleme sonucunda, öğrenci kitabı genel olarak olumlu değerlendirilmiş, öğretmen kitabının ise birkaç eksiğinin tamamlanması durumunda daha faydalı olabileceği kanısına ulaşılmıştır.

TThe aim of the study is to evaluate Spot on English coursebook of 6-7-8th grade Turkish primary education by on-page evaluation in accordance with Coursebook Evaluation Checklist. Evaluation Checklist is composed of four main parts as practical considerations, content, vocabulary, grammar and methodology. At the end of the study it is understood that the student coursebook is considered satisfactory, but teachers’ manual will be more beneficial if some lacking points are tackled.
