ELİT ALTI BAYAN VOLEYBOL OYUNCULARININ FİZİKSEL, ANTROPOMETRİK VE SOMATOTİP ÖZELLİKLERİNİN OYUN MEVKİLERİNE GÖRE İNCELENMESİ

Bu çalışmanın amacı elit altı düzey bayan voleybol oyuncularının fiziksel, antropometrik ve somatotip profillerinin oyun mevkilerine göre incelenmesi ve farklılıkların ortaya konmasıydı. Çalışmaya yaş ortalamaları 18,45±2,39 olan 101 gönüllü oyuncusu katıldı. Somatotip bileşenler için Heath-Carter, vücut yağ değerleri için ise Sloan-Weir formülü kullanıldı. Somatotip özellikler incelendiğinde; mevkiler arasında endomorfi puanları ortalamaları arasında anlamlı farklılık(p<0,05) bulundu. Vücut yağ değerlerinin oyun mevkilerine göre karşılaştırmasında ise vücut yağ yüzdesi değerlerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık(p<0,05) olduğu bulundu. Sonuç olarak voleybol sporunda oyuncuların oyun mevkilerine göre fiziksel, antropometrik ve somatotip özelliklerinde farklılıklar olduğu saptandı. Bu verilerin oyuncu seçiminde ve sporcuyu oyun mevkisine yönlendirmede ilgili kişilerce kullanılmasının sporculardan optimum verimi almada faydalı olabileceğini düşünülmektedir.

INVESTIGATION OF PHYSICAL, ANTROPOMETRIC AND SOMATOTYPE CHARACTERISTIC ON UNDERELITE FEMALE VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS ACCORDING TO PLAYING POSITIONS

The purpose of this study was to investigate body composition, some anthropometric characteristics and somatometric components of under elite female volleyball players in relation to their playing positions. This study was performed on 101 volunteer athletes. Somatotype characteristics of athletes were evaluated by Heath-Carter Formula, body fat percentage was calculated by Sloan and Weir Formula. Significant statistical differences were found between playing position and endomorphy scores. Body fat percentage values of setters different from centers’ (p<0,05). In conclusion, it was found that some physical and somatometric components were different among athletes of different playing position. It is thought that physical and antropometric examination before sports participation or direction to playing position are beneficial for related persons to take optimum performance from athletes.
