TÜRKİYE İLE GÜNEY KORE`NİN MATEMATİK ÖĞRETİM PROGRAMLARININ KARŞILAŞTIRMALI OLARAK İNCELENMESİ

Bu araştırmada, Güney Kore ve Türkiye`de uygulanan ilkokul ve ortaokul matematik öğretim programlarının genel özellikleri, hedefleri, içerikleri, öğrenme-öğretme süreci ve ölçme değerlendirme boyutlarının karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında literatür taraması tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, Güney Kore ve Türkiye`nin ilkokul ve ortaokul matematik öğretimi programının beş boyutta incelenmesini, iki ülkenin eğitim sistemlerinin yapısını ve öğretmen yetiştirme politikalarını kapsamakta ve yalnızca bu konularla sınırlı kalmaktadır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, Güney Kore`de matematiğe ve matematik öğretmenlerine verilen değer ve matematik programlarının uygulanma şekli başarıyı sağlamaktadır.

COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE MATHEMATIC CURRICULUMS OF TURKEY AND SOUTH KOREA

In this study, it is aimed to analyze comparatively the primary and secondary school`s mathematics curriculums applied in South Korea and Turkey in terms of their general features, contents, teaching-learning process, assessment and evaluation aspects. Literature research is applied in collecting the research data. The study includes investigating the primary and secondary school`s mathematics curriculums of South Korea and Turkey in five dimensions, the structure of their education systems and teacher training policies and the study is limited to these subjects. According to the findings obtained in this study, the value given to the mathematics teaching and mathematics teachers, and the application manner of the mathematics curriculums provides the achievement in South Korea.
