Bu araþtýrmada ilkokul ve ortaokullarda görev yapan öðretmenlerin öðrenen özerkliðini destekleme ve sergileme davranýþlarýna iliþkin görüþlerinin nasýl olduðu ile bu görüþlerin cinsiyet, branþ, kýdem ve resmi ve özel okulda görev yapma durumlarýna göre farklýlýklar gösterip göstermediði incelenmiþtir. Araþtýrma Antalya ili Alanya ilçesinde 2013-2014 öðretim yýlýnda gerçekleþtirilmiþtir. Araþtýrmaya ilkokullarda görev yapan 217 sýnýf ve 235 ortaokullarda görev yapan branþ öðretmeni katýlmýþtýr. Araþtýrma verileri Öðrenen Özerkliðini Destekleme Ölçeði ile toplanmýþtýr. Veriler Mann-Whitney U Testi Kruskal Wallis Testi Wilcoxon Ýþaretli Sýralar Testi, Spearman`s rho Analizi ile çözümlenmiþtir. Araþtýrma sonucunda öðretmenlerin öðrenen özerkliðini destekleme davranýþlarýnýn gerekliliði ile sergilenmesine iliþkin görüþlerinin orta düzeyde pozitif yönlü iliþkili olduðu ve bu görüþlerin anlamlý farklýlýklar gösterdiði belirlenmiþtir. OPINIONS OF TEACHERS ON THE NECESSÝTY AND EXECUTÝON OF LEARNERS` AUTONOMY SUPPORT

This research studied the opinions of primary school(grades 1-4) class teachers and middle school (grades 5-8)subject teachers about the necessity and execution of learnersâ€Ã¢â€ž¢ autonomy support and aimed to find out if these opinions vary according to gender, subject, experience and type of school (public or private) they are working for. The study has been carried out during 2013-2014 education session in Alanya, Antalya, Turkey. Study group consist of 217 class teachers working in primary schools and 235 subject teachers working in middle schools. Data is collected with the Learner Autonomy Support Scale and analyzed by Mann-Whitney U Test, Kruskal Wallis Test, Wilcoxon Test and Spearman` rho.
