Bu araştırmanın amacı ilköğretim okulu yöneticilerinin velilere yönelik yönetsel etkinlikleri gerçekleştirmek için öğrenci velilerini okula çekme başarısı hakkında ilköğretim okulu öğretmenlerinin ve öğrenci velilerinin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın yürütülmesinde, genel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışma 2006–2007 öğretim yılı bahar döneminde yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi “tabakalı örnekleme” ile 315 öğretmen ve 385 öğrenci velisi olarak belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 11.5 programı ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucuna göre Denizli ili merkezindeki ilköğretim okulu öğretmenlerinin ve öğrenci velilerinin görüşlerine göre ilköğretim okulu yöneticilerinin “velilere yönelik yönetsel etkinlikleri gerçekleştirme” açısından öğrenci velilerini okula çekme başarıları “okul uygulamaları” ve “veli katılımı” kategorilerinde “orta” düzeydedir.
The aim of this study is to clarify opinions of parents and primary school teachers as to primary school administrators’ attracting parents to school to management activities towards parents. During the study which was performed in the spring semester of 2006-2007 at primary schools, the method of “descriptive screening” was used. The sampling of the study was determined as 315 teachers and 385 parents through “stratified sampling” method. The data which had been collected was analyzed with the programme of SPSS 11.5. According result of the study, the success of primary school administrators in making the school attractive to parents to contribute management activities towards parents is in “mid-level” in categories of “school applications” and “attendance of parents” within Denizli city center.
