Araştırma; müziksel işitme becerisinin ölçülmesine yönelik bir test geliştirilmesi bakımından betimsel niteliktedir. Ayrıca geliştirilen ölçme aracının kullanışlılığına ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerinin alınması ve yorumlanması aşamasında, elde edilen verilen çözümlenmesi bakımından nitel araştırma yöntemine de başvurulmuştur. Araştırma kapsamında geliştirilen müziksel işitme testi için alan uzmanlarının da görüşleri alınarak kırk soru hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan sorular ses, aralık, ezgi ve ritim karşılaştırmalarına dayanmaktadır. Hazırlanan sorularla birlikte bir ses kaydı oluşturulmuş ve öğrencilere önceden hazırlanan cevap kağıtları dağıtılmıştır. Hazırlanan testin süresi 15.09 dakikadır. Uygulama sonrasında elde edilen verilerle testin geçerlik ve güvenirlik sınamaları yapılmıştır. Ayrıca kullanışlılığının tespit edilmesi içinde uygulamaya eşlik eden müzik öğretmenlerinin görüşleri alınmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda 13-15 yaş aralığındaki çocukların müziksel işitme becerilerini ölçmeye yönelik geçerli, güvenilir ve kullanışlı bir test geliştirilmiştir.

The study; is a descriptive research with regard to measurement of musical hearing skill. Besides, while teachers’ opinions about usefulness of the measurement instrument developed for this purpose were being taken, and evaluated, qualitative research method was employed in terms of analysis of the data obtained. In the scope of study, forty questions were prepared for musical hearing test, by taking the opinions of the domain experts as well. The questions are based on comparison of sound, interval and rhythm. Along with the questions, a sound recording was made and answer sheets prepared beforehand were delivered to the students. The period of the test prepared is 15.09 minutes. The data, obtained after the execution and validity and reliability tests were made. In order to determine its usefulness, the opinions of music teachers accompanying the execution were also taken. As a result of study, a useful, valid and reliable test intended to measure the musical hearing skills of the children aged 13-15 years, was developed.
