Çocuk koruma hizmetlerinde çocuklara sunulan hizmetlerden en son tercih edileni çocukların koruma altına alınmasıdır. Bu uygulamada çocuk, ailesi ve sosyal çevresinden alınarak, çocuğun bakımı devlet tarafından sağlanmaktadır. Çocuk koruma alanında çalışan sosyal hizmet uzmanları tarafından aile odaklı uygulama ön plandadır. Ancak bazı durumlarda çocukların koruma altına alınması kaçınılmaz bir durum olmaktadır. Bu durum sosyal hizmet uzmanları için de oldukça zor olan bir karar verme sürecidir. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye'de çocukların koruma altına alma süreçleri açıklanmaya çalışılacaktır. Çalışmanın çocuk koruma hizmetlerinde çalışan sosyal hizmet uzmanları ve diğer meslek elemanlarına yararlı olacağı düşünülmektedir.

The last preferred of the services offered to children in child protection services is the taking under the protection of children. In this application, the child is taken from the family and social environment and the child is cared for by the state. Family-oriented practice is in the foreground by social workers working in the field of child protection. However, in some cases, the protection of children is inevitable. This is a very difficult decision-making process for social workers. In this study, it will be explained making processes under the protection of children in Turkey. The study is thought to be beneficial for social workers and other professionals working in child protection services.
