Bu araştırma üniversite öğrencilerinin toplumsal cinsiyet algıları ile çatışma ve şiddete ilişkin farkındalıkları üzerine rol oynama senaryolarının etkisini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yarı deneysel model olarak gerçekleştirilen araştırmanın evrenini bir Hemşirelik Fakültesi’nde 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında Kadın Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Hemşireliği dersine kayıtlı olan 246 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada örneklem seçim yöntemine gidilmeyip evrendeki tüm öğrenciler araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 187 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veriler, Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Toplumsal Cinsiyet Algısı Ölçeği (TCAÖ) ve Çatışma ve Şiddete İlişkin Farkındalık Ölçeği (ÇŞİFÖ) kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırmada rol oynama senaryoları uygulaması sonrası TCAÖ son test puan ortalamaları deney grubu için 88.17±10.61, kontrol grubu için 87.12±11.55 olarak bulundu (p>0.05).Araştırmada ÇŞİFÖ son test puan ortalamaları ise deney grubunda 108.62±14.5, kontrol grubunda 107.76±14.82 saptanmıştır (p>0.05).Araştırma sonucunda rol oynama senaryolarının öğrencilerin toplumsal cinsiyet algısı ile çatışma ve şiddete yönelik farkındalıkları üzerinde etkili olmadığı saptanmıştır.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of role scenarios on gender perceptions and awareness of conflict and violence among university students.The universe of the study, which was carried out in a quasi-experimental model, consisted of 246 students enrolled in Women Health and Disease Nursing lesson in 2018-2019 academic year in a Faculty of Nursing. Sample selection method wasn’t used in the study and all students in the universe were included in the study. 187 students who accepted to participate in the study formed the sample of the study. Data were collected using the Personal Information Form, Gender Perception Scale (GPS) and Conflict and Violence Awareness Scale (CVAS). In the study, after the application of role play scenarios, the GPS post-test mean scores of the experimental group was 88.17±10.61 and the control group was 87.12±11.55 (p> 0.05). In the study, the mean post-test scores of the CVAS were 108.62±14.5 in the experimental group and 107.76±14.82 in the control group (p> 0.05).As a result of the research, it was found that role playing scenarios didn’t affect students' perception of gender and conflict and violence awareness.
