Bu çalışma, topluma aile planlaması konusunda danışmanlık yapacak olan ebelik öğrencilerinin, aile planlaması yöntemleri konusuna tutumlarını saptamak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Tanımlayıcı olarak planlanan araştırma, 1-23 Mart 2018 tarihleri arasında Manisa Celal Bayar Üniversitesinin Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Ebelik Bölümü’nde çalışmaya katılmaya gönüllü 1., 2., 3. ve 4. sınıfta öğrenim gören 279 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Verilerin toplanmasında, öğrencilerin sosyo-demografik özellikleri ve görüşlerini içeren form, ikinci bölümde ise "Aile Planlaması Tutum Ölçeği" uygulanmıştır. Aile planlaması tutum ölçeği toplam puan ortalamasının 137.07±17.60 olduğu saptanmıştır. Gelecekte bu konuda danışmanlık yapacak olan ebelik öğrencilerinin tutum puanlarının sınıf düzeylerine göre arttığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin sınıfları ile Aile Planlaması Tutum Ölçeği arasında yapılan One-Way ANOVA testi sonucunda, istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark elde edilmiştir (p<0.01). Yapılan ileri analiz sonucunda; anlamlı farkın 4. Sınıf öğrencilerinden kaynaklandığı belirlenmiştir.

This study was carried out to determine the attitudes of midwifery students on family planning methods that will provide counseling for family planning. The study, which was planned as descriptive, was carried out on 1-23 March 2018 in Manisa Celal Bayar University, Faculty of Health Sciences Midwifery Department with 279 students who were volunteers in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th class. In the collection of data, the form of the socio-demographic characteristics and opinions of the students and the "Family Planning Attitude Scale" were applied in these part. The mean total score of the family planning attitude scale was found to be 137.07±17.60. It has been determined that the attitude scores of midwifery students who will be advising on this subject in the future are increasing according to their class levels. As a result of the One-Way ANOVA test conducted between the students' classes and the Family Planning Attitude Scale, a statistically significant difference was found between them (p<0.01). As a result of the other analysis, among the mean scores of the Family Planning Attitude Scale; It was determined that the group with meaning difference was 4th grade students.
