Bu araştırmada, özel eğitim okulunda çalışan yöneticilerin İş Sağlığı Güvenliği’ne ve yapılan uygulamalara yönelik görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmaya özel eğitim okulunda yöneticilik yapan altısı erkek, üçü kadın olmak üzere toplam dokuz yönetici katılmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma desenine göre kurgulanmış olup araştırmada yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği ile veriler toplanmıştır. Görüşmeler sekiz ile 17 dakika arasında sürmüştür. Yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz tekniği ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda özel eğitim okulunda çalışan yöneticiler iş sağlığı ve güvenliği uygulamaları hakkında doğru, göstermelik ve geliştirilmesi gereken bir uygulama olduğu hakkında görüş bildirmişlerdir. Özel eğitim okulu sınıflarında olası risklerin ve tehlikelerin pencere kilitlerinin olmaması, kaygan zemin, elektrik prizleri, masaların sivri köşeleri olduğu bulgulanmıştır. Yöneticiler; zemin uyarı levhalarının konulmasıyla okulda ve sınıfta oluşabilecek tehlikelerin kontrol altına alınabileceğine yönelik görüş bildirmişlerdir. Yöneticilerin, okullarında dolapları sabitleme, yangın alarm sistemini kurma, engelli rampasının yapılması gibi çalışmalar yaptığı bulgulanmıştır. Kişisel koruyucu donanımlar konusunda idareci ve öğretmenlere yönelik seminerlerin yapıldığına yönelik görüş bildirmişlerdir.

In this study, it was aimed to determine the opinions of the managers working in the special education school about the occupational health and safety in schools. A total of nine administrators, six of whom are male and three of whom are female, participated in the study-special education school. The research was designed according to the qualitative research design and the data were collected by semi-structured interview technique. The interviews lasted between 17 minutes to eight. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. As a result of the research, the managers working in the special education school commented about occupational health and safety practices that it was an application that should be correct, show and developed. It was detected that the possible risks and hazards were not window locks, slippery flor, electrical outlets, pointed corners of the tables in the special education school classes. Managers expressed the opinion about the danger that could arise in the school and in the class. It has been found that the managers Works such as fixing the cabinets, setting up the fire alarm system, building the disabled ramp in their schools. They expressed their opinion that seminars were held for managers and teachers about personal protective equipment.
