Bu araştırma, antibiyotik önerilen 0-6 yaşlar arasındaki çocuklarda annelerin ilaç kullanım ilkelerine uyma durumlarını saptamak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla Erzurum ili Pasinler ilçesinde 0-6 yaş grubu çocukları bulunan anneler seçilmiş ve örneklemin büyüklüğü 57 anne ile sınırlı kalmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında antibiyotik önerilen 0-6 yaşlar arasındaki çocuklarda annelerin ilaç kullanım ilkelerine uyma durumlarını saptamak amacıyla hazırlanmış olan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Anketler 0-6 yaş grubu çocuklarının olduğu tespit edilen annelerin evlerine gidilerek uygulanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde ise yüzdelik testi ve korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesi sonucunda annelerin bir kısmının antibiyotik kullanımı ile ilgili bilgi düzeylerinin yetersiz olmasının antibiyotik kullanımındaki tutum ve davranışlarını olumsuz yönde etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Araştırma kapsamına giren bir kısım annenin ise, antibiyotik kullanımında bilinçli tutum ve davranış göstermedikleri belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak; araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara yönelik uygun öneriler getirilmiştir.

This research was conducted as a descriptive study to determine the behaviours of the mothers with respect to the proper use of antibiotics for their children at 0-6 years of age. For this purpose, the mothers who had children of 0-6 year-old in Pasinler (Erzurum, Turkey) were chosen, and the number of the mothers included in the study was limited with 57. In collecting the data a questionnaire was used to find out if the mothers obeyed the principles in using antibiotic prescribed for their 0-6 year-old children. The forms were completed in their own house of the mothers. The results were evaluated with the percentage, and correlations tests were used. The results that were obtained from the data indicated that some mothers had not enough knowledge about using antibiotic drugs, so their attitudes and behaviours related to this topic were wrong. It was determined that some mothers participating in this study did not show concious attitudes and behaviours about using antibiotic drugs. Considering the results, the appropriate recommodations have been made.
