Şiirin iskeletini oluşturan mûsîkî, vezin, kafiye, redif gibi öğeler esâsta güzel söyleyebilme gayretinin bir tezâhürüdür. Divan Edebiyatı’nın olgunluk devresi sayılan XVI. yy.ın Osmanlı sahasındaki en büyük şairlerinden olan Bâkî’nin kasidelerinde genel anlamda dönemin karakteristik özelliklerinin tümünü görebiliyoruz: Göz için kafiye geleneğini, kafiyenin yer aldığı kelimelerin Arapça ve Farsçadan etkilenme derecelerini, yabancı bir veznin uygulanırken tercihin Türk Dili’ne daha uygun kalıplardan seçildiğini... Özelde ise şair Bâkî’nin psikolojisini görebiliyoruz.
The components which form the framework of the poetry, such as traditional Turkish music, meter, rhyme, repetition of the suffixes at the end of the verses which have the same function, and the repetition of the words at the end of the verses which have the same meaning in poems is the sign of effort to express feelings in an effective and nice way. In general terms, we can see all his period’s characteristics in Bâki’s qasidas, who was one of the greatest poets of the 16th century, which is the time considered as the maturity period of Classical Ottoman Poetry. These characteristics are: Tradition to use rhyme for eye, how the words which include rhyme are influenced from the Arabic and the Persian languages, how repetition of the suffixes at the end of the verses which have the same function, and the repetition of the words at the end of the verses which have the same meaning in poems reflect the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century… In specific terms, we can see Bâki’s psychology.
