Bu çalışmada; sanayi devriminden sonra önemli bir ihtiyaç halini alan tasarımın, matbaanın icadı ile ulaştığı boyut ve tarihsel süreç içerisindeki önemli dönemleri incelenecektir. Tasarımın tarihsel gelişimi, estetik kaygı, ergonomi, iletişim gibi ihtiyaçlara sunduğu çözümler ve 300 yılı aşkın bir süreç, bu süreçteki örnekler ve tasarımcılar ele alınacaktır. Çalışma yapılırken konu ile ilgili yerli ve yabancı kaynaklar taranmış, örnek tasarımlar incelenmiştir.

In this paper, it will be examined the important historical processes and size of design which becomes an important need after the industrial revolution upon invention of printing press, and its historical development and the solution, which it offers to the needs such as aesthetical concern, ergonomics and the process beyond 300 years, the examples during such period and designers will be discussed. While the work is carried out, the domestic and foreign resources are searched and the sample designs are studied.
