MALATYA 2011 BATTALGAZİ EVİ KAZISI SGRAFİTTO TEKNİKLİ BİR GRUP SERAMİĞİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Bu çalışmada Malatya 2011 Battalgazi Evi kazısı sigrafitto teknikli bir grup seramiğin değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Yapılan kazıda bu mekânlar içerisinde mescit bölümünün kuzeyinde doğu-batı doğrultusunda uzanan küçük bir mekânda çok sayıda sırlı ve sırsız seramik parçaları bulunmuştur. İki aylık bir çalışma sonucunda 1064 adet seramik parçası bulunmuştur. Bütün seramikler içerinde 494 adet seramiği sigrafitto bezemeli seramik grubu oluşturmaktadır. Bunların sadece 21 tanesi ilk kez bir makalenin konusu olarak yayınlanmaktadır. Bulunan parçalar ağız, gövde ve kaidelere ait amorf malzemelerdir. Sigrafitto örnekler içerisinde biri kuş figürlü, diğerleri stilize bitki motifleri ve soyut bezeme içermektedir. Yeşil, kahverengi ve sarı ağırlıklı tonları ile sırlanmış mutfak kaplarıdır. Bu seramikler Ortaçağ Anadolu İslami dönem yerel sigrafitto örnekleridir. Dönemine tanıklık eden bu seramikler içerisinde Bizans etkili bazı örneklerin bulunması, kültürel etkileşimi ve sanat anlayışına dair önemli veriler sunmaktadır.

MALATYA 2011 BATTALGAZİ HOUSE EXCAVATION EVALUATION OF A GROUP OF CERAMICS WITH SGRAFITTO TECHNIQUE

In this study, a group of ceramics with a sgrafitto technique of Malatya 2011 Battalgazi House excavation was evaluated. In the excavation of these areas, a number of glazed and unglazed ceramic pieces were found in a small area lying along the east-west direction of the masjid. As a result of a work lasting for two months, 1064 pieces of ceramics were found. Among these, 494 pieces of ceramics comprise the ceramics group with sgrafitto ornaments. Only 21 of these pieces are published for the first time as a subject of an article. The pieces are amorphous materials that belong to the lip, body, and pedestal. Sgrafitto samples include one bird figure while the others have stylized plant motifs and abstract ornaments. They are kitchen dishes with green, brown and yellow dominant colors. These ceramics are local sgrafitto examples of the Middle Ages Anatolian Islamic Period. Among the ceramics that witnessed the period, the existence of several samples with Byzantium influence offers significant information regarding the cultural interaction and the perception of art.
