Bu çalışma ile 2006-2016 yılları arası dönemde Türkiye’de aktif faaliyet gösteren hayat dışı (elementer) sigorta şirketlerinden seçilen yedi sigorta şirketinin teknik etkinlikleri sektörel olarak incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla parametrik olmayan yöntem olan ve farklı girdi-çıktı bileşenlerini inceleme imkânı sunan veri zarflama analizi kullanılmıştır. Analizde girdi olarak; acente sayısı, çalışan sayısı ve nakit ve benzeri varlıklar, çıktı olarak ise yazılan primler, poliçe adet ve teknik kar kullanılmıştır. İkinci aşamada aynı firmalar için toplam faktör verimliliği endeksi ile teknik etkinlik, teknolojik etkinlik, ölçek etkinliği ve saf etkinlik değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçların, sektörün daha iyi tanınmasına ve gelişimine katkı sağlaması beklenmektedir.

In this study, 2006-2016 years between the period that is active in the non-life insurance companies in Turkey (elementary) technical activities of the seven insurance companies selected from the insurance company must be examined in the sector. For this purpose, a data envelopment analysis, which is a non-parametric method and which allows the examination of different input-output components, has been used. As inputs; the number of agents, the number of staffs, stable entities and as outputs written premium, number of policies and technical profit are used. In the second stage, the total factor productivity index for the same firms was calculated with technical efficiency, technological efficiency, scale efficiency and pure efficiency values. The results are expected to contribute to better recognition and development of the sector.
