Bu çalışmayla kadınların çalışma hayatındaki konumu, kadın öğretmenlerin öğretmenlik mesleğine bakış açıları ve çalışma ortamlarında risk ve sorumluluk üstlenebilme durumları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen anket Elazığ ili merkezindeki 12 ortaöğretim kurumunda uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde öğretmenlerin branş, hizmet yılı, yöneticilik deneyimi, okuldan memnun olma durumu, öğrenciler tarafından en çok sevilen öğretmen karakteri hakkındaki görüşleri incelenmiş; kadın öğretmenlerin öğrencileri için örnek davranış modeli oluşturabilmeleri, okulun başarı ya da başarısızlığından kendilerini sorumlu hissetmeleri, eğitim ortamında risk ve sorumluluk üstlenebilmeleri, meslekî gelişimleri, dersi sunma becerileri, sınıftaki olumsuz davranışları kontrol edebilmeleri, öğrencilerin öğretmenlere derste merak ettiklerini sorabilmeleri, öğrencilerin sınıf dışında öğretmenleriyle konuşabilmeleri konularında öğretmen görüşleri arasında fark olup olmadığ

With this study, it is tried to determine the situation of women’s working life, the view-point of teaching profession of the women teachers and the situation of taking risk and responsibility in their working environment. With this aim, the public survey that improved by the researchers practiced on 12 high schools in the center of Elazığ.
