Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, öğretmen adaylarının benimsedikleri sosyal değer algıları ile yaşam doyumları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Ayrıca öğretmen adaylarının sosyal değer algıları ve yaşam doyumlarının; cinsiyet, devam ettikleri bölüm, doğum yeri, aile tipi, gelir düzeyi gibi değişkenler açısından farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Muş Alparslan Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesinde; Sınıf Öğretmenliği, Türkçe Öğretmenliği, Okulöncesi Öğretmenliği, Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği ve Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği bölümlerinde öğrenim gören toplam 400 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının sosyal değer algılarıyla yaşam doyumları düzeyleri arasında yüksek pozitif ilişki olduğu görülmüştür.

The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between pre-service teacher?s social value perceptions and their life satisfaction. In addition, it has been examined whether teacher candidates differ in terms of social value perceptions and life satisfaction in terms of gender, department, place of birth, family type, and income level. In the collection of data process, to measure social value perceptions of pre-service teachers "Multidimensional Social Value Scale" was used. To measure life satisfaction of pre-service teachers "Life Satisfaction Scale" was used. The sample of the study consist of total 400 pre-service teachers studying in the department of classroom teacher education, Turkish language teacher education, preschool teacher education, social studies teacher education and science teacher education at Faculty of Education Muş Alparslan University. This study shows that, there is high positive correlation between the level of life satisfaction of preservice teachers and their social value perceptions.
