In this study, the fry fish production capacities and capacity usage rates of the State Hydraulic Works Fisheries Stations were compared. According to data obtained; Şanlıurfa-Atatürk Dam Fisheries Station took the first place with an annual production capacity of 10,000,000 fry fish. It was followed by the Adana-Seyhan, Amasya-Yedikır, Elazığ-Keban, Edirne-İpsala, İzmir-Ürkmez and Bolu-Gölköy Fisheries Stations, respectively. It has been observed that Adana-Seyhan Fisheries Station has the highest capacity usage rate (139.6%). It was followed by the Elazıg-Keban (99.8%), Izmir-Ürkmez (82.6%), Şanlıurfa-Atatürk (80.5%), Edirne-İpsala (73.5%), Amasya-Yedikır (65.4%) and Bolu-Gölköy (63%) Fisheries Stations, respectively. The differences between average capacity usage rates of Bolu-Gölköy, Amasya-Yedikır, İzmir-Ürkmez and Şanlıurfa-Atatürk Fisheries Stations were found to be insignificant (p>0.05). The differences The differences between average capacity usage rates of the other fisheries stations were found significant (p<0.05). These results show that the capacity usage rates should be increased in order to increase the contribution of existing fish production stations to aquaculture production.
