Bu araştırmanın temel amacı “matematik eğitimi ve matematik öğretimi” alanında yapılmış olan lisansüstü tezlerin değerlendirilmesidir. Araştırma tarama modelinde desenlenmiştir. Matematik eğitimi ve matematik öğretimi alanındaki lisansüstü tezler incelenerek belirlenen ölçütler açısından betimlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu nedenle araştırma betimsel özellik taşımaktadır. Elde edilen veriler nicel veri kapsamında frekans ve yüzdeler alınarak incelenmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçların; matematik eğitimi ve matematik öğretimi alanında yapılan tezlerin yukarıda dile getirilen boyutlarına ilişkin toplu bilgiler vermesi açısından alanda lisansüstü çalışma yapacak öğrenciler ile bu öğrencilerin danışmanlarına ışık tutacağı düşünülmektedir.

The principle aim of this study is to evaluate the MA theses conducted on “mathematics education and mathematics teaching” in Turkey. This study has been completed by using survey model. MA theses on mathematics education and mathematics teaching and writing have been examined and described according to specific criteria. Therefore, this study is descriptive in nature. Collected data has been analyzed through quantitative analysis, and depicted in frequencies and percentages. Results of this study are expected to guide both students completing their MA thesis and their advisors by providing them with a pile of information gathered about all the thesis completed on mathematics education and mathematics teaching.
