Bu çalışma, 2009 yılında Karaağaç Göletinde (Uşak) yapılmıştır. Yapılan arazi araştırmalarında göletin balık faunası belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, gölette bulunan balık ve kerevit populasyon büyüklükleri tahmin edilmiştir. Bu amaçla Leslie Metodu kullanılmıştır. Karaağaç Göletinde ekonomik değeri olan 3 balık türü (Esox lucius, Tinca tinca, Cyprinus carpio carpio) ve 1 kerevit türü (Astacus leptodactylus) tespit edilmiştir. Göletin en baskın türü olan turna balığının (Esox lucius) Leslie Metoduna göre tahmin edilen stok miktarı 240,5 kg, Kadife balığı (Tinca tinca) ve Sazan balığının (Cyprinus carpio carpio) ise sırasıyla 108,4 kg ve 74,5 kg olmuştur. Ayrıca, gölette 36435 adet (1628 kg) kerevit stokunun bulunduğu tahmin edilmiştir.

This study was carried out in the Karaagac Pond (Usak-Turkey) in 2009. The fish fauna of the pond was determined in the field study. Also, the population sizes of fish and crayfish in the pond were estimated. For this purpose, the Leslie Method was used. It was determined that Karaagac pond sheltered three fish species (Esox lucius, Tinca tinca, Cyprinus carpio carpio) and one crayfish species (Astacus leptodactylus). The stock amount of Esox lucius, the most dominant fish species in the pond, estimated using the Leslie Method was 240.5 kg. It was 108.4 kg and 74.5 kg for Tinca tinca and C. c. carpio respectively. Also, it was estimated that there were a stock of 36435 (1628 kg) crayfish in the pond.
