İlköğretim öğrencilerinin maruz kaldığı gürültü seviyeleri üzerine bilgi sağlamayı amaçlayan bu çalışmada, Amasya kenti merkezindeki, taşıt trafiği akımı olan cadde ve yollar çevresindeki lokasyonlarda yer alan 8 ilköğretim okulunda dış ve iç ortam gürültü seviyeleri araştırılmıştır. Ölçümlerden elde edilen verilere göre, çalışma kapsamındaki okulların dış ortam gürültü seviyeleri Leq 54-77 dBA, L90 56-65 dBA olarak ölçülmüştür. Ders ortamında sınıflarda pencereler kapalı konumda öğrenci aktivitelerinden kaynaklanan gürültü seviyesi Leq 67-74 dBA, arka plan gürültüsü L90 51-59 dBA ölçülmüştür. Bu düzeylerin, pencerelerin açık olduğu durumlarda daha da yükseldiği saptanmıştır. Okullarda ölçülen gürültü seviyelerinin, Türkiye`de ve WHO (Dünya Sağlık Örgütünün) Eğitim kurumları için belirlenmiş olduğu, kabul edilebilir gürültü değerinin üzerinde ve eğitim-öğretim ortamını olumsuz yönde etkileyecek düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür.

In this study which aims to get information about noise levels that elementary school students are exposed to, external and internal environment noise levels have been researched at 8 elementary schools located near the main roads and streets with traffic jam in the center of Amasya. According to data collected from measurements, external environment noise levels of schools within the scope of study were measured as Leq 54-77 dB, L90 56-65 dB. Measured noise levels caused by student activities in lessons when windows were closed are in the range of 67 to 74 dB Leq , ambient noise levels are in the range of 51 to 59 dB L90 . It was determined that the values increased more as the windows were open. It was found that the noise levels measured in the schools have been determined in Turkey and for World Health Organization (WHO) Educational Institutions, were above the acceptable noise value and were in the level of affecting the educational environment in a negative way.
