Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğrenci merkezli eğitimde temel alınan alternatif değerlendirme yaklaşımlarından biri olan portfolyolara ilişkin fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının görüşlerini değerlendirmektir. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda; çalışma grubunu oluşturan öğretmen adaylarının %6’sı portfolyo değerlendirme sürecinin çok etkin, %43’ü etkin ve %37’si orta düzeyde etkin bir uygulama süreci olduğunu belirtirken, %14’ü ise etkin olmayan bir uygulama süreci olduğunu belirtmiştir. Çalışma grubu içerisinden rasgele seçilen öğretmen adaylarıyla yapılan görüşmeler sonucunda da; öğretmen adaylarının çoğunluğu, portfolyo uygulamasının fen bilgisi dersinde yapılması gerektiğini, portfolyoların öğretmen adaylarının dersteki gelişimlerini daha iyi yansıttığını ve derse yönelik daha düzenli ve organize olmalarını sağladığını ifade etmiştir. The aim of this study is to evaluate the science pre-service teachers’ opinions related to portfolio that are one of the alternative evaluation approaches based on student centered education. At the end of the study, %6 of pre-service teachers indicated that the portfolio process is very efficient, while %43 efficient and %37 medium level efficient. On the other hand, %14 of pre-service teachers indicated that the portfolio process is not efficient. As a result of interviews with pre-service teachers who are chosen randomly, from the participants, most of them thought that portfolio applications are necessary during science lessons. Also they indicated that portfolios enable pre-service teachers to show their development in lessons and to be more regular, organized in the lesson.
