İlkel toplumlardan günümüze kadar yaşamı imgelerle canlandırmaya çalışan resim sanatı yaşayan her şeye ilgi duymuştur. Bu ilgi ile beklide, ele avuca sığmayan anı yakalamaya çalışmıştır. Zamanın en küçük birimi olan an resim sanatı için önemlidir. Gerçek anı, aktarmaya çalışırken ressam, hareketi de resimlerine yansıtır. Hafif ve sürekli kımıldanma, kımıltı anlamına gelen kıpırtı ile vücudu oynatma, kıpırdatma anlamına gelen hareket, resim sanatında geçmişte olduğu gibi bu gün de önemini korur. Kıpırtı ya da hareket belli dönemlerden seçilen ve o dönem içinde ve sonrasında plastik endişeleriyle öncü olma durumunu yaratan ressamların eserleri ile tanıtılmaya çalışılacaktır. Resimde kıpırtı ve hareket Leonardo da Vinci’nin, Mona Lisa adlı eseriyle başlayarak, Fransisco de Goya’nın aksiyon filmlerinin ilk örneği olarak değerlendirebilecek olan” 2 Mayıs 1808” isimli eseriyle ve Eugene Delacroix’in, “Tangier’in Fanatikleri” isimli eserleriyle devam edecektir. Eduard Manet ve” Olimpia” ile izleyicinin resimde kırptı kıpırtısı, Georges Seurat ve renk titreşimleri, Piet Mondrian ve ünlü eseri Boogie-Woogie Brodway ile soyut kıpırtı anlatılmaya çalışılacaktır.
Starting from primitive society until nowadays, the paint art, which shows the life with thoughts and fantasies has awakened interest of people. Those, who were interested in it (paint art) were trying to catch this elusive moment which is exposed in picture or paint. This short period of time called “moment”' is really important in paint art. Painter, who transfers the moment into a picture, at the same time trying to transfer the motion. So far, all the light and regular movements and slight movement that are called 'motion' have a great importance for people of art. Motion has been tried to be introduced by the painters’s consequences from one period of time to another one. Motion as a definition will be explained in da Vinci's “Mona Lisa”, in Fransisco de Goya's movies and. action films in “3 may 1808”, can be the first examples. And it continued with the butchery consequences of Eugene Delacroix by the name “The Fantastics of Tangier”. Eduard Manet and ”Olimpia” with spectators slight movment. An abstract motion will be defined in Georges Seurat's works, P.Mondrian and colour vibration, Piet Mondrian and his famous painting “Boogie-Woogie Brodway“ tried to show abstract meaning of motion.
