Bu araştırma, ilköğretim beşinci sınıf öğrencilerinin fen ve teknoloji dersinde edindikleri bilimsel bilgiler ile günlük yaşamları arasında ilişki kurabilme düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma tarama modeline dayalı olarak desenlenmiştir. Veriler araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilmiş olan “Fen ve Teknolojiyi Günlük Yaşamda Kullanım Anketi” ile Eskişehir il merkezinde yer alan ilköğretim okullarının beşinci sınıf öğrencilerinden 250 öğrencinin katılımı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları ilköğretim öğrencilerinin fen ve teknoloji dersinde öğrendikleri bilgileri günlük yaşama aktarmada sorun yaşadıklarını ortaya koymuştur.

This research was realized in order to determine the elementery school students’ level of established the relationship between acquire scientific knowledge in science and technology course and daily life. The research was based on survey method. The data was carried out with ”usage of science and technology in everday life scale" developed by the researchers, in the Eskişehir city center of the fifth grade elementary school students with the participation of 250 students were gathered.The research results produced that primary school students had problems with the knowledge they have learned in science and technology course in adapting to everday life.
