Bu çalışmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmenliği programında okuyan 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin, fakültelerinde yapılan ve kendi ders başarılarını belirleyen sınavlara ilişkin görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma nitel yönteme dayalı olup çalışma grubunu Fırat Üniversitesi, Eğitim Fakültesi, İlköğretim Bölümü, Sınıf Öğretmenliği programının 3. ve 4. sınıfında okuyan toplam 91 öğretmen adayı öğrenciden akademik başarı ortalamaları dikkate alınarak sıralanmış, üst, orta ve alt puan diliminden seçilmiş 3 sınıftan 17 ve 4. sınıftan 21 olmak üzere ölçme dersi almış 38 öğrenci üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada dört açık uçlu sorudan oluşan görüşme formu kullanılmış, ayrıntılı bilgi edinmek için gerekli durumlarda alternatif sorular (sondalar) işe koşulmuştur. Araştırma verileri yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat yöntemiyle toplanılmış ve görüşmelerde sesli kayıt alınmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde “betimsel analiz tekniği” kullanılmıştır. Katılımcıların kimlikleri gizli tutulmuştur. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulardan ulaşılan sonuçlara göre, öğrencilerin her bir alt boyutla ilgili hem olumlu hem de olumsuz görüşlere sahip oldukları gözlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin her dört boyut için daha çok olumsuz görüşlere sahip oldukları saptanmıştır.

The aim of this study is to assess the opinions of 3th and 4th grade preservice classroom teachers about the examinations which are administered at their own faculty. This is a qualitative study. The universe of this study consists of 91 3th and 4th grade preservice classroom teachers receiving education in elementary education program in educational faculty of Fırat University. Out of 91 preservice teachers 38 of them was chosen (17 participants from 3th grade and 21 participants from 4th grade) considering high, middle and low academic achievement levels. All participants had been taken measurement and evaluation course before.In order to collect data four open ended interview questions were used. To get profound information probes were used when it was necessary. Data was collected with semi-structured interview technique. Interviews were recorded via tape recorder. In order to analyze data descriptive analyses method was used. Result of this study showed us that, preservice classroom teachers have both positive and negative opinions for each sub dimension. But participants have mostly negative opinions for each four dimension.
