Bu çalışmada, Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Ortaöğretim Fen ve Matematik Eğitimi programında öğrenim gören toplam 25 öğrencinin sonlu küme, sayılabilir ve sayılamayan sonsuz küme kavramlarında mevcut bilgilerinden yola çıkarak yaptıkları hataların matematiksel modelleme yardımıyla belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Bu amaçla öğrencilere küme kavramıyla ilgili bilgilerini hatırlamalarına yardımcı olacak açık uçlu sorular yöneltildi. Sorulara verilen cevaplar değerlendirilerek öğrencilerin düştükleri yanılgılar belirlendi ve bu yanılgıları zihinlerde doğru matematiksel düşünmeyi oluşturacak şekilde etkinlikler yaptırıldı. Etkinlikler sonucunda kavramları daha kolay zihinlerde oluşturdukları görüldü.

In this study, Ondokuz Mayis University Secondary School Science and Mathematics Education program, who studied a total of 25 students of finite sets, countable and uncountable infinite sets concepts available in the information by setting out from their mistakes mathematical modelling with the aid was to determine. Students with information about the cluster concept for this purpose will help them remember their open-ended questions were posed. Answers to questions identified by evaluating students' errors and misconceptions of their dreams in the mind to form correct mathematical thinking has been done in the event. As a result of events in mind, they created the concept more easily seen.
