Radye temeller, tekil ve mütemadi temellerin izin verilebilir ta?yma kapasitesi ve oturma kriterlerinin yetersiz kaldy?y durumlarda tercih edilirler. Ayryca, mütemadi temel alanynyn, toplam temel alanynyn % 50~60 yny geçti?i durumlarda daha ekonomik olmasy nedeniyle radye temeller kullanylmaktadyr. Yapylarda yüklerin merkezi ile geometrik merkezin çaky?mamasy durumu olarak tanymlanan eksantrisite dikkate alynmady?ynda yapylarda dönme ve devrilme gibi önemli problemlere sebep olabilirler. Tasarym süreçlerinde paket program kullanylmasy ile bir kez olu?turulan algoritmalar yardymyyla hesaplar hem hatasyz hem de daha hyzly ?ekilde sonuçlandyrylabilmektedir. Bu çaly?mada radye temel projelendirilmesinde eksantrisite hesaplary için Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition altyapysy kullanylarak yardymcy bir program yazylymyna gidilmi?tir. COMPUTER-AIDED ECCENTRICITY CALCULATION FOR THE MAT FOUNDATIONS

Mat (raft) foundations are chosen in case of insufficient allowable bearing capacity and settlement criteria of individual and combined footings. In addition, to obtain more economical foundation design mat foundations are used where the area of combined foundation exceeds 50~60 % of the entire area of foundation. Eccentricity is defined as the location of resultant loads does not coincide with the center of gravity of the building that can cause major problems such as tilting and overturning on the structure. Calculations can be obtained without error in a short time with the help of algorithms generated one time by using software during the design processes. In this study, software is prepared for the eccentricity calculations of mat foundation design using the infrastructure of Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition. The combinations of thirty-six different loading algorithms are prepared to create the program. Thus, all loading conditions for dead loads, live loads and earthquake loads
