Ülkemizdeki tarihsel ve kültürel mirasın gelecek nesillere doğru bir şekilde aktarılması, uluslararası koruma ilkeleri ve koruma bilinci doğrultusunda onarılıp güçlendirilmesi ile sağlanabilmektedir. Tarihi yapıların onarım ve güçlendirilmesinde temel ilke, “yapıya müdahalenin” en az seviyede uygulanmasıdır. Tarihi yapıların onarım ve güçlendirilmesi için izlenecek adımlar; (i)yapı taşıyıcı sisteminin ve yapısal hasarların belirlenmesi, (ii)taşıyıcı sistem elemanlarında gözlenen hasar tiplerinin belirlenmesi, (iii)malzeme ve zemin özelliklerinin tespit edilmesi şeklinde sınıflandırılabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada Nevşehir, Ürgüp, İbrahim Paşa Köyü’nde yer alan taş yığma bir konut örneği üzerinden onarım ve güçlendirme çalışmaları ele alınmıştır. Öncelikle yapının tarihsel ve mimari özellikleri ve strüktürel yapısı araştırılmıştır. Yapıda oluşan hasarlara göre onarım ve/veya güçlendirilmesine yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.

The healthy conveyance of historical and cultural heritage to the coming generations can be provided only by restoring and strengthening them in appropriate to international conservation principles under the consciousness of conservation. Performing minimum interference to the structure is the basic principle in restoring and strengthening the historical buildings. The steps to be followed for the restoration and strengthening of the historical buildings can be listed as; (i) the determination of the load-bearing system and the structural damages, (ii) the damage types observed on the members of the load-bearing system of the building, (iii) the determination of the material and soil properties. In this study, the strengthening and restoration studies were taken into consideration over a house sample constructed with stone-masonry in İbrahim Paşa Village of Nevşehir-Ürgüp. First, the historical and architectural properties and the structure of the building were investigated. There were presented suggestions for strengthening the building in the context of the structural damages occurred on the building.
