Bu çalışmada, ilköğretim ikinci kademesinde eğitim-öğretim gören öğrencilerin müzik dersi başarı durumları ile diğer derslerdeki başarı durumları arasındaki ilişkiler incelenip değerlendirilmiştir. İlgili branş öğretmenlerinden elde edilen I.- II. dönem ders notları yüzde-frekans ve korelasyon veri analiz yöntemiyle yorumlanmıştır. İlköğretim ikinci kademede okutulan müzik dersi başarı durumları ile diğer derslerin başarı durumları arasında oldukça yüksek bir oranda anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Elde edilen korelasyon sonuçlarına göre, öğrencilerin müzik dersindeki başarı puanları ile diğer derslerin toplam başarı puanları arasında 0,81 oranında oldukça yüksek, anlamlı ve doğrusal bir ilişki olduğu, yani müzik dersinin başarı puanları yükseldikçe diğer derslerdeki toplam başarı puanlarının da yükseldiği görülmüştür. Başka bir deyişle diğer derslerin başarı puanları yükseldikçe müzik dersinin başarı puanları da yükselmektedir.

In this study, the relationships between the 2nd grade primary school students’ success status of music classes and their success status of other classes were examined and evaluated. Scores of the first and second semesters, obtained from the related branch teachers were interpreted by using the percentage-frequency and correlation-data analysis methods. It turns up that there is a highly significant relationship between the success status of 2nd grade music classes and the success status of other classes. According to the correlation results obtained, there is a highly significant, meaningful and linear relationship between the success status of music classes and the total success status of the all other classes at the rate of 0,81.That means the more the success status of music classes increase, the higher the success status other classes become. In other words, the more the success status increase in other classes, the higher the success status of music classes become.
