Emre EV ÇÝMEN emre.ev.cimen@windowslive.com Matematik Öðretmeni, ESKÝÞEHÝR, TÜRKÝYE Bu çalýþmada, 9.sýnýf öðrencilerinin Matematiksel Güç (MG) düzeylerini geliþtirmeye yönelik planlanmýþ bir eðitim öðretim sürecinin etkiliðini belirlemek amaçlanmýþtýr. Bu yönde ilk olarak, geleneksel öðrenme ortamýnýn fiziksel ve sosyal boyutu MG kavramýna uygun biçimde gözden geçirilmiþ ve revize edilmiþtir. Matematik eðitim öðretim süreci (ders iþleniþi, etkinlikler, ölçme deðerlendirme vb. her yönü ile) planlanmýþ ve süreç boyunca yöntemin etkinliði test edilmiþtir. Araþtýrmada, son test kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanýlmýþtýr. Çalýþma, 2005–2006 eðitim-öðretim yýlýnda 26 haftalýk bir sürede, Ankara ilindeki yatýlý bir ortaöðretim kurumunun, 29â€ÃƒÆ’¢Ãƒ¢€ž¢ar öðrencisi olan iki adet 9. sýnýf þubesinde yapýlmýþtýr. THE PLANNING OF EDUCATION AND INSTRUCTION PROCESS WHICH FOSTERS DEVELOPMENT OF MATHEMATICAL POWER

Emre EV CIMEN emre.ev.cimen@windowslive.com Mathematics Teacher, ESKISEHIR, TURKEY In this study, it was aimed to determine the effectiveness of an education and instruction process planned to improve studentsâ€ÃƒÆ’¢Ãƒ¢€ž¢ MP level. In this way, first, the traditional learning environment was reviewed and revised in accordance with MP Concept. The mathematics education and instruction process was planned (in all aspects such as instructing, in-class activities, assessment&evaluation etc.) and the effectiveness of methodology was tested. The experimental design of post-test control group was used in this research. The research was done during 2005-2006 educational period within 26 weeks with two 9th grade classes (one as control group and the other as experimental group) which have 29 students each.
