Bilgisayar destekli eğitim uygulamalarının başarı ile sonuçlanmasında en büyük etkenlerden biri olan eğitim yazılımlarının değerlendirilmesi ve seçimi oldukça önemli bir konudur. Doğru yazılımının tercih edilmesi; dersin öğretim hedeflerine ulaştırılabilmesi, öğrencilerin ilgilerinin derse çekilebilmesi ve motivasyonlarının artırılabilmesi açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Ancak, günümüzde özellikle yazılım teknolojilerindeki gelişmeler ve buna bağlı olarak değişen yazılımlara yönelik yaklaşımlar eğitim yazılımı seçme işinde karara varmayı zorlaştırmaktadır. Bundan hareket ile uzman, eğitimci ve velilere yönelik hazırlanan ve onlara eğitim yazılımlarını değerlendirip görüşlerini paylaşma imkânı sunan Eğitim Yazılımları Değerlendirme Sitesi (EYADES) isimli bir web sitesi oluşturulmuştur. The most important factor in the success of computer assisted educational implementations is the evaluation and preference of educational software, which is an important issue. The preference for accurate software is important for attaining the goals of lesson, drawing the attention of students to lesson and increasing students’ motivation. However, the developments in software technology and therefore approaches towards changing software make the preference process of educational software difficult.
