Ülke müzik eğitiminin gelişimine hizmet etmek için ve koroların sayılarını arttırmak amacıyla, 2010-2011 eğitim-öğretim yılında Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvarı Müzik Bölümü 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin aldığı “Müzik Pedagojisi†dersi kapsamında bir proje başlatılmıştır. Bu proje kapsamında gönüllü öğrenciler haftada bir gün Afyonkarahisar’daki çeşitli ilköğretim okullarına giderek, bu okullarda koro çalışmaları yoluyla müzik kültürünün gelişmesine katkıda bulunmuşlardır. Bu çalışmaların sonucunda yapılan bu araştırmada; projede yer alan sınıf öğretmenlerinin müzik eğitimine bakışları, verilen müzik eğitiminin öğrencileri üzerindeki etkileri ve projenin yararları üzerine görüşleri ortaya konmuştur. In order to serve for the development of national music education and increase the number of choirs, Afyon Kocatepe University State Conservatory Department of Music senior students who take “Music Pedagogy†lesson initiated a project within the scope of this lesson in 2010-2011 academic year. Within this project, volunteer students were assigned to go to various primary schools in Afyonkarahisar once a week and they had implemented choral works at these schools which helped to develop musical culture. As a result of the study, the research shows the views of class teachers on music education, the effects of the music education on their students and the benefits of the project.
